Our land & facilities: a tranquil escape

Discover the heart of Safe Space, 8 acres of serene countryside designed for restoration, reflection, and connection with nature. We invite you to explore our peaceful landscape and find your calm.

Embrace the quiet beauty of our 8 acres

Step into a world of calm across our 8 acres of peaceful land, nestled in the quiet countryside of Dunblane. Here, you can truly hide away from the world or simply sit and enjoy the breathtaking view from our top field. Listen to the calming sounds of the neighbouring brook when the rain falls, breathe in the scent of fresh air or mowed meadow areas, and watch butterflies and birds dance around you. This is a place to be still, connect with nature, and leave your phone in the car to fully immerse yourself in the present moment.

Embrace the comfort of canine companionship

We understand the profound bond with our four-legged friends, which is why Safe Space is designed to welcome dogs. Veterans can bring their dogs for walks and talk sessions, and those with dementia can also find comfort and familiarity with their canine companions by their side. Bringing your own dog along is brilliant for both your mind and feeling safer and calmer, and here you can do just that.

Connecting with our gentle flock

Experience the profound benefits of animal power by spending time with our small, gentle flock of sheep. Being around these lovely creatures offers a unique way to feel grounded, calm, and truly connected to the natural world. Many visitors find immense comfort and peace in their quiet presence, making it a truly restorative experience.

Coming soon: all-weather comfort

To ensure Safe Space can be enjoyed year-round, we are excited to be in the process of building outdoor shelters. These structures will provide comfortable, protected areas where you can continue to immerse yourself in nature, regardless of the weather, making every visit a pleasant one.

Activities for all ages & interests

Safe Space offers a unique environment for a variety of workshops and activities that utilise the natural resources of our land. From wool spinning and wood whittling, harnessing what the space naturally provides, to engaging kids' groups and creative events, there's something for everyone. Learn about sheep welfare, participate in dog safety workshops, or enjoy specialised kids and dogs training sessions. Our land is a versatile canvas for learning, growth, and enjoyment for the entire community.
